It’s almost Halloween! One of my favourite Holidays! Not only because you get to dress up but because you can really get creative in the kitchen. Simple ingredients created into the most ghoulish and creepy treats… how perfect! These are tickling my fancy this year….how about a….
Goosebumps White Vampire Bite Cake. It has teeth!!! Literally!!
These White Chocolate Mummy Pretzels are very clever and very cute. Perfect for small kids!
These Skeleton Cupcakes have a pretzel and marshmallow skeleton standing on top. Ooh…. creepy!
If you dare….Ouija Board Cookies.
Black Bread and Roasted Carrot Hummus is one of the most inventive recipes I found this year. The bread is black. And when I say black… it charcoal black.
Lychee Eyeball Vodkatini. Two drinks in and you won’t even notice there are eyeballs floating in it. Gross. Yet delicious.
Boba Thai tea Shooters. Iced tea served in test tubes. Bottoms up!
Monster Cake Pops. These one-eyed monsters looks like cute cake pop cartoons. Also great party favours! Or if you are very generous – as surprises for trick or treaters!
Mini Spider Pizzas are great party hors d’oeuvre! Bite size and have a spooky olive spider in the middle!
Meringue Bones are served in a bowl of blood! (OK, that’s raspberry sauce to you and me).
Blood Soup. Let me repeat… blood soup. If this won’t get your kids tucking into a healthy bowl of soup then nothing can. The soup gets its vibrant colour from a combination of tomato and beetroot.
What are you making for Halloween this year?
